Greetings, Loyal Few
As the captain of our ship, Cunning Drinks, I'm hoisting the flag one last time to announce a bittersweet but spirited voyage into the sunset. What a treasure trove of memories we've amassed, not to mention a serious stockpile of rum and vodka!
Let’s rewind to where our adventure began—a daring plot to conquer the high seas of the beverage world with our cunningly crafted premixes. Was it an elaborate scheme to escape domestic duties for a “business meeting”? Perhaps. Was it a reason to tell our spouses, “Sorry, love, I have to taste another batch tonight”? Absolutely. But oh, what a glorious pretext it was!
From our first concoction, which we bravely sampled and resampled (just to be sure, of course), to the golden age of our Cunning label, each can was a map to new territories. We charted courses unknown and often found ourselves slightly lost at sea—but always in good spirits.
Our meetings? Oh, they were epic tales of heroism and hydration. “For research!” we’d declare, can in hand, as we tested yet another batch of our rum mix or refined the crisp zest of our signature vodka blend. And let’s not be coy about our strategic retreats—they were less about market trends and more about ensuring our palates were well-rounded with every possible flavour profile (and occasionally our bellies too).
But like all legendary quests, ours must come to an end. Cunning Drinks, our beloved vessel, will dock for the last time. It's time to stow away our gear, secure the cargo (those last few cases will need a good home—my cellar is ready), and chart a course for new adventures.
To our families, who have patiently nodded along as we recounted tales of late-night mixing and urgent taste tests, we raise our cans in genuine gratitude. You indulged our passions and perhaps enjoyed the spoils as well.
So, here’s to Cunning Drinks—a business, a brotherhood, and the finest excuse to ever grace our lips with "I swear, it’s for work!" May your cans always be full, and your spirits never diluted.
Cheers to the memories, the laughs, and yes, even the hangovers. They were all worth it.
